Scores of people turned out for the 17th annual Marula Festival in Phalaborwa. The two-week event which celebrates the marula fruit season includes a marathon, a golf tournament, aerobics, a flea market exhibition, an open air festival and comedy night events.
Golfers teed off for the Marula Golf Tournament at the picturesque Tzaneen Golf Club on Friday 21 April. Weather conditions in the sub-tropical town were perfect for a good day of fun in the greens.
On Saturday morning hundreds of participants took off at first light and took to the streets of the copper mining town of Phalaborwa as part of the annual marathon.
