Solemn send off for five ANC volunteers killed in bus crash

Thousands of mourners gathered at the Eisleben Sports Ground in Botlokwa, Limpopo to pay their respects to five ANC members who died on their way to attend the party's 112th anniversary celebrations a week ago. Mashao Setabola from Mokomene, Mosima Makganyoga, Mapula Rakubu, Magret Rakubu and Manti Mafomo all from Eisleben north of Polokwane were killed when the bus they were travelling veered off the Makgobaskloof embankment on the R71 after the driver lost control. ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula who delivered the eulogy at the joint funeral service ANC Secretary General Cde Fikile Mbalula described the deceased as committed volunteers of the party. The funeral was attended by senior national and provincial leaders of the ANC together with scores of residents from the local community.
