South Africans made their way to polling stations around the country on Wednesday 11 November to cast their votes in by-elections organised by the Independent Electoral Commission.
The elections were held across 95 wards in 55 municipalities in all nine provinces.
Lucas Ledwaba witnessed the by-election in ward 14 in the Polokwane local municipality in Limpopo.
