Thousands of protesters heeded the call by the Economic Freedom Fighters to march against crime, corruption, load shedding, unemployment and the resignation of president Cyril Ramaphosa. The countrywide protest were largely peaceful with the SA Police Services reporting it had arrested more than 85 people for public violence. The protests culminated in a mass march in the Pretoria CBD which was later addressed by the EFF leader Julius Malema. Photo: EFF
