Tshakhuma village waits for big time football

News that the owners of Limpopo based First Division side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila football club have bought the status of PSL club Bidvest Wits has brought excitement to the football mad village of Tshakhuma.

Hawkers are expecting booming trade, traditional leaders have asked local government to revamp an old dilapidated stadium and fans are waiting in anticipation.

Tshakhuma is a rural village set in the hills and is best known for its reputation as a centre of farming and is home to a thriving 24 hour fruit and vegetable market.
